This documentary is 2.00mins long.
It's about a a brief over view on a man who lives in the UAE and has 84 kids. IT doesn't drag on what happens through out the video it shows the main points that the audience would ask as a question such as 'how does he remember all those names?' that would be a questions that anyone who watches it would think. so the production team or the interviewer would ask that question.
The job of the interviewer in short documentary's such as this short video is that he has to think about the main questions that the audience would like to ask. Also the interviewer questions the farther of the 84 kids a bit about his personal life such as 'how did you lose your leg?' By the audience watching the short film they would want to know why the man is on crutches and the interviewer gets the question out for the audience.
MISE EN SCENE
I will first start of by talking about the shots that were taken through out the video. The shots were quite short and simple. also it was taken mainly positioned at a high point. The shots were aimed at the interviewers head and the main persons whose speaking. however at times the conversation runs through the Background which the shots are aimed at the kids playing about. This shows that while the dad is talking about the kids the kids are portrayed as kids that a living a happy childhood.
The sound at the Background while the random shots are played through is religious and portrays the cultural inhabits that the family would have. also it portrays the environment that they live in is a islamic society so the kids would be brought up to be muslims.
The setting or place the scenes was shot at was at a light sunny environment this supports that the fact the documentary is footage in the UAE. also this is a advantage for the audience who are tuning in to the show because it makes it easier for them to see, what is going on.
Their was no set up props in the film this shows that everything is occurring naturally at the background and that is how a pure documentary is meant to be like.
The target audience who i think is aimed is people who enjoy watch extraordinary documentary and also the people who has a interest in watching how different cultures work and how they are like.
